Josh Vanbuskirk and Philip Cunningham placed 2nd in the Nation at the 2006 SkillsUSA contest in Kansas City, MO. Josh and Philip both won the Local, Regional, and State contest to qualify for Nationals. During the year, they competed against over 60 teams to earn this award.
June 2005
Jack Noble, Nicole Gladd, and Britney Gladhill won 2nd place in the 2005 National SkillsUSA competition for TV/News Anchor. The team competed against more then 15 other states in the first year of competition. Jack Noble was also on the 2006 team that won the State competition and represented the State of Maryland again in the TV/New Anchor contest where they and placed 7 th in the nation.

In June 2006, the TV/Multimedia class was award a $2500 grant to produce a Anti-Drinking and Driving campaign for State Farm Insurance. This campaign will be complete by November 2006.
