All students at the Career and Technology Canter will complete at least one level of the SkillsUSA professional Program during their first year at the Center. This curriculum was developed under the supervision of professionals in corporations and post seconding institutes.

Frederick County Career and Technology Center Students Earn Statesman Degrees
Twenty six students from the Frederick County Career and Technology Center (CTC) attended the SkillsUSA Maryland Fall Leadership Conference Nov. 2 nd and 3 rd in Ocean City, Maryland. At this conference, students received training in team building skills, professional organizational skills, collaborative goal planning and implementation. To earn their Maryland Statesman or Advanced Statesman degree, each student demonstrated competencies in civics, knowledge of their local, state and national organization and developed a professional portfolio.
