CHAMPIONSHIPS
SkillsUSA championships consist of four levels of competitions: Local, Regional, State and National.
Local championships will be held Dec. 12 at Career and Technology Center with 24 programs holding contests. The awards ceremony will be held at Frederick Community College on Dec. 13
Regional championships will be held in early Feb. in Allegany County. Contests requiring a Regional contest will be identified by Dec.
State championships will be held March 30-31 in the Baltimore area. All programs which held a local computation will participate in the State championships.
*Some contests require winning at Regional's to attend State championships.
*National Championships will be held June 25-30 in Kansas City Missouri. Students who win a gold medal at the State Championships advance to Nationals where they compete with 5,000 secondary and post-secondary students at the top 270 in the nation.
