PRINCIPLES OF MASONRY

Certifications

The Masonry Program utilizes curriculum that was developed by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and is nationally accredited and internationally recognized.  The program is approved by the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training and its standards are approved by the Maryland Department of Labor.  The curriculum is sponsored by the Cumberland Valley Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC).

Basic Rigging

Masonry 1 Apprenticeship

Introduction to Masonry
Safety Requirements
Tools and Equipment
Mathematics, Drawings, and Specifications
Mortar
Masonry Units and Installation Techniques

 

Successful completion of the Masonry Program satisfies the first year credit requirements of the ABC Masonry Apprenticeship Program.
