PRINCIPLES OF MASONRY

Career Options

The Construction Technology/Principles of Masonry Program offers options students who intend on going on to further their education in a 2-year or 4-year college as well as students who plan to enter directly into the workforce.

Careers options that require a 4-year college degree after the completion of the Masonry Program include:

  • Job Site Supervisor
  • Superintendent
  • Construction/Structural Engineer
  • Masonry Estimator
  • Project Manager
  • Masonry Inspector

Careers the require students to continue their training at a 2-year technical school, apprenticeship program, or in the military

  • Construction Management
  • Foreman
  • Mason Contractor
  • Masonry Product Sales Representative
  • Masonry Restoration Expert

Careers that allow students to enter directly into the workforce
upon completion of the Masonry Program include:

  • Brick, Block and Stone Mason
  • Cement Mason
  • Tile Setter
  • Mason Tender
  • Equipment operator
