INSTRUCTOR

Melvin Baker joined the staff of the Career & Technology Center in the spring of 1999 after 15 years in the Electronics field. Prior to coming to the Career & Technology Center, Melvin was employed by Boscov’s Department Stores in Harrisburg PA, where he was awarded the top producing technician award in their service department 5 years straight. Melvin started in an Electronics Technology program, while in high school, in West Virginia where he was a first place winner in their local, and state SkillsUSA ( or as it was known then VICA) Electronics contest two years running and participated in the National contests. He has taught the Electronics, Computer Technician and Cisco programs here at CTC and is A+ and NET+ certified.
