AUTO BODY AND COLLISION REPAIR

VALUE ADDED

I-CAR

To insure alignment with the collision repair industry, the Collision Repair program recently implemented the use of the I-CAR curriculum.  Formed by the collision industry in 1979, I-CAR is an international, not-for-profit training organization. All I-CAR activities and resources focus on helping the industry achieve a high level of technical training. I-CAR developed curriculum that is used to deliver technical training to professionals as well as students in all areas of the collision industry.

ASEThe Collision Repair program is currently in the process of applying for NETEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) certification which will allow us to display the familiar ASE certification logo.

I-CAR
The I-CAR Education Foundation was created in 1991 to address the problem that the collision repair industry was facing a critical shortage of quality entry-level employees.

In an effort to work towards enhancing the development of collision repair technicians, the I-CAR Education Foundation, developed the PACE+ST3 program.  The PACE+ST3 program aligns instruction, and student achievement and local collision repair businesses to promote student placement in internships so that dedicated students can expand their knowledge and get a head start on their career.
