AUTO BODY AND COLLISION REPAIR

CAREER OPTIONS


The Auto Body/Collision Repair Program offers options to students who intend on going on to further their education in a four year or two year college as well as students who plan to enter directly into the workforce.
 
Careers requiring a four year college degree after the completion of the Automotive Technology program include:

  • Dealership Owner
  • Automotive Design Specialist

Careers that require students to continue their training at a two year technical school, apprenticeship program, or in the military

  • I-CAR Certified Technician
  • Collision Repair/Refinishing Technician
  • Body Shop Manager
  • Insurance Appraiser/claims processor

Careers that allow students to enter directly into the workforce upon completion of the Auto Body/Collision Repair Program include:

  • Collision Repair Technician
  • Refinishing Technician
