PRINCIPLES OF CARPENTRY

VALUE ADDED

Students who complete the Carpentry program at the Career & Technology Center may receive the following credits toward their apprenticeship through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER)

 

  • 144 classroom hours
  • 665 Work Hours


Successful completion of the Carpentry Program satisfies the first year credit requirements of the ABC Carpentry Apprenticeship Program.

 

 Students may earn 6 articulated college credits in FCC’s Construction Management Program through the successful completion of the Carpentry Program. Concurrent enrollment in the Introduction to Construction Management class can provide an additional 3 credits for a total of 9 college credits at FCC.
