PRINCIPLES OF CARPENTRY

CAREER OPTIONS

The Carpentry Program offers options for students who intend to further their education in a two-four year college or technical school as well as students who plan to enter directly into the workforce.

Careers complemented with a four-year college degree after the completion of the Carpentry program include:

  • Construction Executive
  • Structural Engineer
  • Construction Manage

Careers that are enhanced by students continuing to train at a two-year technical school, community collage, apprenticeship program, or in the military

  • Carpenter
  • Apprentice
  • Field superintendent

Careers that allow students to enter directly into the workforce upon completion of the Carpentry Program include:

  • Laborer
  • Carpenters Helper
  • Second year Carpentry Apprentice
