CAREER OPTIONS

The Biotechnology Science program offers options to students who intend to further their education in a two year or four year college as well as students who plan to enter directly into the workforce.
 
Careers requiring a four year college degree (or more advanced) after the completion of the Biomedical Science program include:

  • Biomedical WorkerProduct Marketing
  • Quality Assurance Manager
  • Registered Nurse, BS
  • Biotech Sales Specialist                                
  • Biochemist
  • Bioinformatics specialist
  • Microbiologist
  • Research Associate
  • Research Scientist (Ph.D),
  • Clinical Scientist (Ph.D),
  • Pathologist (MD)

 

Careers that require students to continue their training at a two year technical school, apprenticeship program, or in the military

  • Biomedical WorkerLaboratory Assistant
  • Dental Hygienist
  • Radiology Technician
  • Surgical Technician
  • Medical Assistant
  • Registered Nurse, AA
  • The Biomedical field typically requires a minimum of two years of additional education beyond high school!
