CAREER OPTIONS

The Automotive Technology Program offers optionsfor students who intend on going on to further their education in a two year or four year college as well as students who plan to enter directly into the workforce.

Careers requiring a four year college degree after the completion of the Automotive Technology program include:

    • Automotive or Mechanical Engineer
    • Dealership Owner
    • Automotive Design Specialist

Careers that require students to continue their training at a two year technical school, apprenticeship program, or in the military include:

    • ASE Certified Technician
    • Dealer Technician
    • Service Manager
    • Parts Manager
    • Aircraft Maintenance
    • Marine Repair Industry
    • Heavy Truck and Equipment Repair
    • Motorcycle Technician

Careers that allow students to enter directly into the workforce upon completion of the Automotive Technology Program include:

    • Brake System Technician
    • Steering/Suspension/Alignment Technician
    • Tire Specialist
    • Lube Specialist
    • Undercar Technician
    • Small Engine Technicial
