ACADEMY OF FINANCE

Students must complete the entire Academy of Finance Program as set forth in the contract between the National Academy Foundation and Frederick County Public Schools. This includes the required coursework, college class, and successful completion of the summer internship. Upon completion, students will be awarded a Certificate of Financial Studies.

This certification requires CTC to provide additional professional development for Academy staff. Additionally, because much of the curriculum is computer driven, the Academy classroom/lab allows for students in the Academy to have individual daily access to computer/ internet resources.

The Certificate of Financial Studies is recognized by many colleges and universities.
